WIN Quadrat - Morgen entscheiden wir.
taking place in Bad Ischl, it will bring together 150 top students from Austria with politicians (Alfred Gusenbauer, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, uvm.) and company representatives (Mc Kinsey, Mercedes-Benz, Hernstein Institut, Strabag, Ernst &Young, Generali Gruppe etc.) in order to address ten current global challenges in working groups. INEX will be represented by Philipp Schöffmann and Mag. Fabienne Babinsky, contributing to the workshop held by UNIDO: "Ecologically and ethically responsible acting".

Consulting Pro Bono - Closing Ceremony
@ 5pm in the Haus der Musik in Vienna, featuring presentations of the final results concerning the four participating NGO's (one of which is INEX) major challenges. Furthermore the discussion panel, lead by Johanna Zugmann, "Die Presse", consisting of Univ.Prof.Dr. Michael Meyer, Chair of the institute for Nonprofit Management, Dr. Reinhard Platzer, Director General of Dexia
Kommunalkredit Bank AG, and Vizepräsident von respACT, Luzia Wibiral, Executive Director of Kindernothilfe, and Mag. Andreas Schneider, Head of the WKO CSR Division, will discuss the dicrepancy of Nonprofit and Forprofit Organisations in terms of CSR.

Info Event on INEX Summer University, Costa Rica and Sustainability
Diplomats, politicians, representatives of various organizations and institutions, prospective students and friends of the Latin American culture all came for this evening at the Austrian Latin America Institute in Vienna.

The event featured Key Note Speeches from Lydia Maria Peralta, Consul General of Costa Rica, Mag. Fabienne Babinsky, INEX Chair, Mag. Katharina Cortolezis-Schlager, Municipal Councillor of Vienna, and Mag Klemens Riegler, General Manager of the Eco Social Forum Europe.
Amidst the guests we proudly welcomed Dr. Hans Malus, President of the Austrian Costa Rican Society, Dr. Robert Tanzmeister, Professor at the Department for Roman Languages of the University of Vienna, Peter Hiessberger, Chair of the Eco Social Students Forum, and Martina Nagyova, president of AIESEC Vienna, as well as former students of the INEX Summer University program in Costa Rica and nominated participants of the upcoming program in July 2008.

The presentation part was concluded by salsa rhythms and dancing instructions from Jorge Alois, Floridita Vienna. Costa Rican coffee and a buffet were served, and networking continued until much later that evening.

presented by the authors Dr. Franz Fischler, President of the Ecosocial Forum and Austrian EU Commissioner for Agriculture together with Franz-Theo Gottwald, President of the Europen Network for Eco Agro-Culture and Professor for Ethics and Sustainable Value Management in Munich and Shanghai.

A world without hunger - vision or utopia? Strategies for a feasible design of agriculture and alimentation policy are the pin point of this new book. The editors Franz Fischler and Franz-Theop Gottwald explain challenges and institutional approaches aswell and illustrate success stories from India, Columbia and Nepal. Published in German language.

INEX chosen for Consulting Pro Bono Case
Consulting Pro Bono is an initative of the students consulting association icon-s. Chosen students work on current issues of various companies and NGOs in cooperation with top consulting companies. The first Pro Bono project is focusing on NPOs in order to reach a large audience for the topics raised. A.T Kearney, Contrast Cosulting, Roland Berger and Czipin Consulting will work together with student groups on current issues of four Austrian NGOs. INEX is one of the four NGOs chosen to work with those top consulting companies.
